hello i was hired in the interview. they said my manager would contact me about meeting and getting started. i haven't heard from anyone. how long should i wait before calling? it's been over a week. the start date, i thought, was supposed to be the seventh. how long did it take you to get started? i realize there could be a difference, depending where you live, but any suggestions would be appreciated. i'm already thinking about continuing my work search because i have this feeling that something is wrong. they're hiring so many people. what if they have to turn some away? or lose my application or forget about me? i don't want to be annoyingly persistent, either. i already sent an email but got no response. thanks all.
