Eramet
  • Address
    Paris 15 Tour Montparnasse
Eramet does more than meddle in metals -- it makes superalloys and specialty steels that resist high heat and corrosion. Eramet's manganese products are used by the steel industry, as well as in batteries, fertilizers, and animal feed. The company's steel products include die-forged and machined parts for the aerospace, power generation, and tooling industries. Eramet is also one of the world's leading producers of nickel alloys, including ferronickel (iron and nickel). In 2016 the company sold its Erachem unit (manganese chemical applications) for $193 million. Through a shareholding pact, French holding companies Sorame and Ceir control just over 35% of Eramet; AREVA owns 26%.
