Its Heritage Labs performs lab tests on samples collected by its own and third-party exam providers. The Hooper Holmes Services segment performs phone interviews to collect medical histories, retrieves medical records, and underwriting services on behalf of insurance companies. In 2014 Hooper Holmes sold its Portamedic on-site testing unit to Piston Acquisition.
