Part of Philips Electronics North America, the division manufactures home appliances (such as coffeemakers, food processors), and personal care items (electric toothbrushes, shavers). (It is exiting the consumer electronics business amid stiff competition.) Its top brands include Sonicare, Norelco, Senseo, and Saeco. The division's products are sold by supermarkets, discount retailers, and department stores. A reorganization in 2008 combined Philips Domestic Appliances & Personal Care North America with Philips Consumer Electronics North America to create Philips Consumer Lifestyle (PCL).
