It also makes tools and assembly equipment for its own use and to sell to OEMs and other suppliers. Shiloh's largest customer is General Motors, accounting for about 34% of sales. Other customers include Ford, Chrysler, and Toyota, as well as home appliance manufacturers, construction companies, and steel producers. Its nine manufacturing plants are located in Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee, as well as Mexico. The company was founded in 1950 as Shiloh Tool & Die Manufacturing.
