Also known as BMO Financial Group (or BMO) the company offers retail banking, wealth management, and investment banking services in North America. Its BMO Bank of Montreal is one of Canada's oldest and biggest banks. Serving individuals, government agencies, and businesses, it has about 900 branches that provide deposits, mortgages and loans, life insurance, credit cards, investments, and wealth management services. In the US, it owns BMO Harris Bank, which offers personal and commercial banking through some 700 branches. Another subsidiary, BMO Capital Markets, performs institutional brokerage and investment banking services.
