This company makes its green from the green -- the golf green, that is. ClubCorp is one of the world's largest operators of golf courses and private clubs, with more than 200 facilities in some 25 states (mostly in the fair weather states of California, Florida, and Texas) and three in Cozumel, Mexico. In addition, the company operates about 135 private business, sports and alumni clubs across the US, as well as one in Beijing, China. Its golf courses include such well known venues as Country Club of Hilton Head (Hilton Head, South Carolina), Mission Hills Country Club (Palm Springs, California), and Woodside Plantation Country Club (Augusta, Georgia). Founded in 1957, ClubCorp went public in 2013.
