Four Corners Property Trust knows the four corners of the dinner table. Now one of the largest owners of restaurant properties in the US, the real estate investment trust (REIT) spun off from Darden Restaurants in late 2015 with a portfolio of more than 420 restaurants spanning over 3 million square feet across 44 states. The restaurant properties, which are leased to Darden and its operating subsidiaries, operate under five Darden brands including Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52, and Wildfish Seafood Grille. Four Corners targets portfolio growth through sale-leaseback transactions and acquisitions of triple-net leased restaurant properties with operators.
