The company makes and distributes Star Brite and StarTron brand maintenance and appearance products. Its marine and automotive lines include waxes, lubricants, and coolants, and its recreational vehicle and power sports equipment offerings primarily consist of polishes and cleaners. Ocean Bio-Chem's products are sold by both national retailers and specialty stores, including Wal-Mart, West Marine, and Bass Pro Shops. The company handles its manufacturing in-house through its Alabama-based Kinpak subsidiary, which also provides contract services. President and CEO Peter Dornau owns about 70% of the company.
