Established US oil refiners, meet the new kid on the block. Formed in the first decade of 21st century, PBF Energy's five oil refineries (formerly owned by Valero Exxon Mobil, and Sunoco), and located in California, Delaware, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Ohio, have a combined production capacity of about 900,000 barrels per day. The refineries produce gasoline, ultra-low-sulfur diesel, heating oil, jet fuel, lubricants, petrochemicals, and asphalt for the Midwestern and Northeastern US. The company indirectly owns the general partner and approximately 52.1% of the limited partnership interest of PBF Logistics LP. PBF Energy is majority-owned by investment firms The Blackstone Group and First Reserve.
