TDK-EPC may be proof that two parts are better than one. The company is a combination of Japanese parent TDK's passive electronic components business and Germany's EPCOS. Formed in October 2009, TDK-EPC is now a leading developer and manufacturer of electronic components, modules, and systems. Products are marketed under both the TDK and EPCOS brands and include capacitors and magnetic inductors that store energy, radio frequency filters that enhance signal, and temperature and pressure sensors that are used in everything from PCs, TVs, and mobile phones to car stereos, home appliances, and industrial electronics. These products are marketed to customers globally in Asia, Europe, North America, and South America.
